Closing in on one week here in Cali! It's super cold, but the sun is always shining, so I guess things even out. In a little over an hour we will find out our teams. Very stoaked about that.

Friday night was the first time I went out of campus to do something. With three new friends , I went to the N-Zone, the local bar. It was packed in there with fellow Americore members. It was fun, but I was still not 100% health wise. The next morning, since we had nothing to do, I slept...and slept...and slept all morning. When I did finally roll out of bed I went with a group of people down to Sacramento. We went on a brewery tour of Pyramid Brewing and that was pretty cool. Then we went into Old Sacramento which looks just like an old west town, right down to the wooden sidewalks. We looked in a couple of shops and then ate. I got back to the base around 9:30 and just hung around the rest of the night.

Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will be celebrating it as a day on, not a day off. We will be going out into the communities and doing service projects in rememberance of MLK.

I'm going to grab some grub now, so take care friends. Peace!

Jenna Benna Bo Benna! I am honored to be the first person to leave you a blog comment! So anyway, I called you back, but I was working that night, and I'm sure you're busy, so whenever you get some time, give me a ring. I was wicked sick on Thursday too! Anyway, sounds like you're having a blast, and I hope everything is peaches and cream. love ya lots!
