friday favorites: Websites to Waste Time On

Today's Friday Favorites takes a look at the websites that I enjoy passing the time looking at. They are hilarious, informative, thought-provoking or all three at the same time. You can click on the title of each site to check them out for yourself.

Natalie Dee: This is a web comic that is updated daily. Natalie and her husband Drew also write Married to the Sea and Drew writes Toothpaste for Dinner. They are usually good for a good, immature chuckle. Below are my favorite comics from each of the sites

mental_floss: This website has a lot of trivia and interesting articles about anything and everything. From pop-culture to sciencey stuff to art, they will get you ready for Jeopardy better than any other site.

PostSecret: This is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. The website is updated every Sunday with new secrets. Below are some secrets from this week.

Pandora: This site is amazing! You just type in a musical artist, genre or song title and the site will play what you selected and other music that the website thinks is similar to what you want to listen to. I love my Dolly Parton/Lorretta Lynn selections!

Internet Movie Database: If I ever have a question about a movie or when I KNOW I have seen that actor before but can't think of what else they have been in, I go to this website, type in the actor or name of the movie or tv show and I can get all the details plus some fun trivia about the movie/tv show or actor.

Cute Overload: C'mon, how can anybody NOT think that these are adorable?
