change of summer plans

Hello again, all!

Last time you may have read this blog, I told you that I would be gone for the summer working at a camp. Well, things happen and plans change, so I am not working there anymore. For those of you who know me and would like to know more about this, feel free to ask.

This means I am back in Sandy and looking for what comes next. I really don't know what that next thing is, but hopefully I will figure it out sooner rather than later. I am back to the idea that I want to have employment without a predetermined end date. I have put off making big life decisions for a long time and now I need to be making them so I can become a productive member of society once again.

On another note, Babs is back in my life! Babs is the 1964 Buick Special that was on loan to me from family friends since last November. In May, Babs' transmission decided that it had had enough and was no longer doing whatever it is that transmissions do. So after two months in the shop, she is back with me, where she belongs. And I am finally making the commitment that she has been wanting and am in the process of buying her from the family friends. In a couple of months she will officially be mine! Yay for transportation!

Anyway, that is where my life is at the moment. Done with one job, looking for another job, on my way to becoming the owner of a classic car that makes me smile. If we haven't talked in a while, you should give me a call since I am bad about initiating those kind of things. Hope all is well with everyone :)
