Lap E. Top aka Lappy
Summer 2005 - November 2008
The week before Thanksgiving 2008, Lappy gave up the fight and faded away. Literally, his screen went dim. I brought him in to Dr. Jon, IT guy at my work, to see if there was anything he could do to change Lappy's fate. Two LCD screens, one inverter, one motherboard and two months later, Dr. Jon told me there was nothing more he could do and Lappy was gone.
Lappy was a good laptop. He held my pictures and music, allowed me to connect with my family and friends all over the country and provided me with hours of entertainment. Sure, his sound never worked quite right and I could never play DVDs on him, but he was my college graduation gift and I love him, imperfections and all.
You never forget your first, and Lappy, where ever you are, you were the best.
