Hello fellow popsiclers! I am sorry I haven't written anything in nearly a month. Last week I came down with a nasty cold. I just went to the doctor's, however, so I should be right as rain in no time. It was also a month ago that the screen on my laptop went permanently dim. Nooooo! Lappy!
Ta da! Here comes networking to the rescue! One of the technology guys at Jumpstart agreed to take a look at Lappy. He told me I needed some new parts, sent me the Ebay links to purchase them, offered to boost my memory or RAM or whatever, and to add any programs that I'd like onto Lappy. And all for just the cost of the parts! Every computer owner should have a techy friend. Jon is definitely my tech hero. Hopefully I can get Lappy back before this coming Saturday.
Why Saturday, you ask? BECAUSE I'M COMING HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!! Yup, another jenna k Oregon adventure from December 20 to January 3. And I only had to take three personal days off because the whole Jumpstart network closes down from Christmas day until Jan. 5.
I think that the last time I was so excited to come home was the first time I did last year after being in California and Louisiana for 5 months. I miss my two ladies and the west coast. I really never thought that there would be such a difference between the west and east coasts, but I sure do feel out of place here sometimes. It's hard to describe what exactly it is, but I'm sure others who have swapped coasts (or countries) at one time or another know what I mean.
I am pretty sure I have more to talk about, but I am typing this at work during my lunch time and there is other stuff I need to get done. If you will be in Oregon when I am, please give me a call. Let's celebrate the holidays and get Blitzened! (not really, I just thought that was clever. Call me anyway and let's catch up.)
