Hey folks. I'm back to AmeriLife from a week of vacation. I loved every minute of my time back home and thank you to everyone who helped make it great. I already miss home and want to come back, but alas, there is still work to be done here.
I flew into Houston yesterday and stayed in a hotel before driving to Camp Hope today. I think we will start our official cooking duties on Wednesday. Tomorrow we will be going to a distribution center and sorting donated stuff.
I am not sure how I feel about this project right now. There are 18 AmeriCorps teams here and it is kinda overwhelming here. I know that once we get settled and into the swing of things, these next eight weeks will fly by. We are living with two other teams, both of whom I like a lot, so that's a good thing. Did I mention that in the last post? Oh well. It has been a long day and I should get some sleep, or at least try to. I'll probably have an address for this place that you can send stuff to, but for now just send stuff to my Sacramento campus address. Love and miss!

i am still sad i missed you in portland but we both had fun where we were so it's okay.
