Hi all! I really haven't felt like writing for a while but today I got the urge, so here I am. Since my last post, I finished making payments on Babs the Buick (got the title and everything!), had a lovely holiday season, celebrated Grammy's 79th birthday, started singing in a choir, crocheted a bit and generally enjoyed life.
My temp job with the Kroger Benefits ended last Friday but the temp agency did a swell job and had an interview lined up for me before then so this past Monday I started a new gig at the Fred Meyer Rewards center. For those of you that are mildly curious, I am still working in the FM corporate offices (where Benefits was), but now in a new department and new building. No new commute for me! I have now been there four days and all I can say is, well, it's a job.
My other major news is that Nicole and I decided to live together! We had talked about it last September but I wasn't ready to think about it until my bank account was a little more flush. We talked again last week and decided that end of April/beginning of May would be a good time for both of us. It will be me, Nin and my "Godson" Tanner. We have few requirements - 2/3 bedrooms, close to 205, not scary and cheap. Wish us luck!
Other than that, not much else is happening in my life. I wish I had more exciting things to share, but this will have to do. I hope everyone is surviving 2011, especially my New England and northeast friends. I love and miss you guys, but I am damn grateful that I don't live in constant snow :) Cheers!
