71-80aroo!

Almost there, folks! only 20 more random facts about me to go!

I dedicate these next ones to The Momma and The Grammy as an early Mother's Day ode:

71. When I was little, my bedtime routine would be me and The Momma sitting on the couch with something on the TV (I remember Punky Brewster), sharing a bedtime snack, and talking to each other. The most vital part of this ritual was my Green Blankie. This time was called "Share Blankie Time". I want to do this with my kids some day.
72. I learned a majority of my number and math skills from playing card and dice games with The Grammy.
73. Once, when The Momma and I were in Lincoln City, there was a mattress in the middle of the road. The Momma became inspired by this and wrote "The Matress Song." Ask us to sing it to you some day.
74. I firmly believe that most of my anal-retentiveness is a direct result of growing up with The Momma. I like organization, cleanliness and playing the hostess because of her.
75. I also firmly believe that my sloppiness is from The Grammy. There may be a mess, but it always gets cleaned up before company comes over.
76. The Grammy's parents were both deaf. The Grammy can speak sign language, The Momma a little bit, and I can barely sign at all. But I want to learn.
77. All the men in my family are gone. I am who I am because of the strength and courage of these two women. There is no one on earth like them.
78. The Grammy hates it when The Momma and I burp and open our mouths with food in them at each other at the dinner table.
79. It was while I was taking care of The Grammy after her heart attack that I decided to apply for AmeriCorps.
80. The Momma is my closest friend.
