It has been two weeks since my last post. Here are the highlights...
*Attacked by fire ants at an ISP
*Drilled through steel beams at the gym
*Played with adorable puppies and kittens at an animal shelter ISP
*Completed my section of the team's project portfolio
*Got absolutely drenched while working outside in a thunderstorm (yes, we did have the smarts to come in out of the rain)
*Went to New Orleans for fun and not work for a change
*Talked to some friends on the phone that I hadn't talked to in ages
Not much else of note to talk about. This is my last week with Operation Blessing. On Friday the team drives to Camp Cullen, a YMCA camp about 90 miles north of Houston, TX. There we will have our transition week with the same businessy-type stuff we did when we came back from San Diego. Then on Saturday, May 26, I fly home to Portland! I can hardly wait! I'm so excited to see my family and friends and cat and get out of this damn humidity and heat! Seriously, I think the people down here have never heard of the north and it's humidity-free climate. I think someone should tell them that they don't have to live in this muggy hell and they could have it so much better!
Not a long entry tonight, so I apologize. I think that the camp has internet, so I'll try to keep you all posted about my life, like where my next project will be (we still don't know!) Good night friends!
